West Coast Wonder Women+ invites the public, local businesses, and media to attend the 2025 edition of the boxing card from May 23 to 25 at SEAPARC Recreation Centre Sooke, BC. 101 female+ athletes from across the globe will compete in over 75 competitive bouts at this year’s boxing card. The WCWW+ card, one of only five all-female boxing cards in the world, celebrates diversity, inclusion, and resilience by providing opportunities for women in the male-dominated sport of boxing.
Throughout the three-day boxing card attendees can watch bouts while enjoying food and beverages provided by local vendors. Competitors and attendees are also invited to participate in various workshops and panels, including athlete preparation and safety hosted by The Athlete Centre and talks by professional boxers and past WCWW+ competitors.
Single-day tickets and weekend passes for adults and children are available at the door and online at westcoastwonderwomen.net/tickets/. Proceeds from ticket sales help fund programs in the greater Victoria community that empower the next generation of female+ athletes. As a non-profit organization, Sooke Boxing utilizes its funding to provide female boxing classes in high schools and communities across Vancouver Island.
WCWW+ is offering all accredited journalists interested in attending the boxing card a complimentary media pass. In addition, organizations and businesses considering sponsoring future editions of the event are also eligible for complimentary passes to the boxing card. West Coast Wonder Women+ (WCWW+) is an all-female international boxing card held in Sooke, British Columbia, Canada. As one of the five all-female boxing cards in the world, WCWW+ provides an opportunity and platform for empowerment to women athletes of all ages.
WCWW+’s mission is to redefine the historical and social perceptions of boxing and create a pathway for women to succeed in a male-dominated sport. This year’s card takes place from May 19 to 23 and will include over 100 fighters from across the globe, including athletes making their debut to national champions defending their titles.

About Ellen Connor
Ellen Connor is an experienced boxing coach and the founder of the West Coast Wonder Women+ boxing card. Ellen established WCWW+ after seeing the need to provide a platform for women in the male-dominated sport of boxing. Ellen strives to provide an opportunity for women of all ages and the LGBTQ2S+ community to participate in the sport they love. Ellen also founded Sooke Boxing in 2016, a not-for-profit boxing club providing opportunities for athletes across Vancouver Island. She is an NCCP Certified Level 1 Boxing Canada coach.
